Abstract

Implant-retained prostheses need to be re-evaluated on a regular basis. This should include review of the effectiveness of oral hygiene procedures to maintain soft tissue health, evaluation of the integrity and function of the prosthetic superstructure and comparison of radiographic bone levels at appropriate intervals.
