Dilacerated lateral incisor

Abstract

A case of maxillary lateral incisor dilaceration is presented. The appearance and timing of the dilaceration suggest that the buccally placed maxillary canine, which was intimately related to the incisor root during its development, may have had a role in its development. The aetiology, management and clinical significance of dilacerations are discussed.
