Welcome to Orthodontic Update

From January 2020 we are delighted to welcome members of the British Orthodontic Society (BOS) to our journal Orthodontic Update (OU).

As a UK member of BOS you will receive a print copy of the journal and have full access to this website, which offers online access to the OU archive dating back to launch, as well as the opportunity to interact and engage online with authors, board members and fellow readers, inspiring discussion and debate. You will also have access to read via the App on a mobile device.

Overseas members will only be able to have access via the website and also will be able to read OU on a mobile device by downloading the App.

OU offers all BOS Members and subscribers participation in the journal's CPD programme. This offers 16 hours of verifiable enhanced CPD each year and CPD certificates can be downloaded via the website or a member of the OU team can send them on to you as per your request. To participate answer the relevant questions in each volume via the website. We require a 50% pass rate to receive the verified CPD. This will be recorded on your personal CPD certificate.

For non BOS members a subscription to Orthodontic Update offers the following:

4 issues per year

16 hours of verifiable CPD per year (with Enhanced CPD certificates and domains)

Available in print, online or via App

Access to an online archive with a comprehensive range of peer-reviewed papers

Help with Enhanced CPD

A subscription to OU offers 16 hours of verifiable Enhanced CPD each year and CPD certificates can be downloaded via the website, or a member of the OU Team can send them on to you on request.

In line with the changes required for Enhanced CPD, Orthodontic Update CPD certificates include all required details such as subject, learning content, aims and objectives.
