Orthodontic Update is a journal written by Orthodontists for Orthodontists. The journal is written and presented in a highly academic format, but it is presented in an understandable and enjoyable style, bringing post graduate education to the surgery.
Orthodontic Update will be written in a relaxed style, as is its sister publication Dental Update, but making a valuable contribution by bringing high quality and relevant material to all providers of orthodontics, whether you are a specialist or a GDP who has a small orthodontic patient list.
Orthodontic Update will not solely be about research, but will concentrate on the practical side of orthodontics, treatments that occur within the surgery on a regular basis, offering new techniques and solutions to existing problems.
Orthodontic Update will be published initially three times in 2008 and quarterly from 2009. Editorially each issue of Orthodontic Update will offer you four peer reviewed papers per issue as well as providing you with up to 16 hours verifiable CPD per year.
