And could they have chosen a more appropriate date? Friday 13th of December …
So, after three years of indecision, obfuscation and perfidy we now face the prospect of another bunch of politicians returning to the Palace of Westminster to resume their business as usual. They are going to take yet another spin of the ‘wheel of fortune’ now to attempt to avoid the catastrophic consequences which many have predicted will follow us leaving the European Union. We will see! And our children will either reap the benefits… or pay the price.
Anyway, the good news I heard today was that all the members of the British Orthodontic Society will now receive the next four copies of Orthodontic Update as a member benefit.* We are genuinely interested in seeing what you think about the publication and whether you would like this member benefit to continue. It is a clinical publication which has proved popular with specialists and generalists alike.
Orthodontic Update is an easy read, beautifully illustrated and covers a wide range of clinically relevant topics. We are delighted to receive articles on any orthodontically-related subjects and we will guarantee a fast turnaround time to a decision to publish or not.
This issue contains a variety of short case reports to clear the backlog of excellent, clinically-related papers. We truly believe that there is something for everybody!
Wishing you all a very happy and healthy 2020 … and brace yourself for the bumpy ride ahead!
